7-Day In-Person Experiential Training for Therapists & Wellness Practitioners
The Power of Paradox!
Spiral Process Therapy offers the Spiral Process Method (SPM) — a 35-hour continuing education training for licensed therapists and wellness practitioners. Held in person in Santa Cruz, California, this immersive program draws on somatic therapy, process-oriented psychology, Taoism, and relational healing to help clinicians work more deeply, authentically, and effectively with their clients.
As a therapist or healing arts practitioner, you’re dedicated to guiding others through their most profound challenges. You have studied to build relationships with your clients that inspire them to emerge as their most open and vulnerable selves. But are you ready to enter that space as expansively and authentically as you dream your clients will? The Spiral Process Method (SPM) Course offers you the grounds and insights to help clients access new depths of healing, release resistances, and move toward true flow states using paradoxical means. We aim to guide therapists and healers to develop as more sincere human beings and to heal using their innate spontaneity.
Join us for an immersive, 7-day experiential training that blends body-centered wisdom, mindful presence, and the power of allowance and non-duality. Whether you’re interested in somatic therapy, plant medicine, or simply a deeper approach to experiential therapy, this course will transform the way you approach the human experience in both personal and professional settings.
Why Choose the Spiral Process Method?
Spiral Process Method is based on Process Psychology, a theory and modality that orients all therapeutic interventions towards the thematic elements (processes) of the present moment by honoring every unfolding phenomenon between client and therapist as the guiding principle. SPM enables clients to shift from reactivity to resilience, creating profound change that reaches mind, body, spirit, and environment. This 35-hour program integrates principles from Somatic Therapies, Gestalt Therapy, Relational Healing, Taoism, Buddhism, and Transpersonal Psychology, with a focus on:
Body-Centered Healing – Explore the innate wisdom and signals of the body for a profound therapeutic experience.
Experiential & Process-Oriented Techniques – Move beyond traditional talk therapy into here-and-now client experiences, using props and interventions not seen in other therapy models.
Holistic & Nonjudgmental Practices – Practice allowance and non-resistance. Integrate mind, body, and environment to help clients discover choice and a deeper belonging to themselves.
What You’ll Gain
In this hands-on, highly supportive training, you’ll develop key skills and techniques that you can immediately use in your practice, as well as in life beyond your practice.
Guide Clients into the Present Moment: Help them access emotions, body signals, and underlying patterns with ease and trust.
Embrace Non-Duality in Therapy: Develop trust in the organicity of the unfolding experience. Move beyond rigid ideas of “good” or “bad,” allowing clients to explore their full range of experiences with compassion and curiosity.
Work with Fight/Flight Responses as Pathways: Learn to transform the body’s adaptive reactions into a flow of healing energy.
Master Experiential Techniques: And preserve creative authority to mix these techniques into other, more conventional therapy modalities.
- Facilitate True Integration: Help clients fully embody their transformation, without fear of being themselves, allowing them to feel whole, grounded, and self-assured in their choices outside of session.

Your Instructor: Dmitry Vulfovich, LMFT
Dmitry Vulfovich, LMFT is the Founder and Clinical Director of Spiral Process Therapy and a Process Therapy Master Teacher — one of a rare number of clinicians trained directly by Don and Carol Hadlock through both foundational and advanced Process Training, including a year-long One-Way Mirror Experiential Therapy program. His embodied approach to teaching is shaped by 190 hours of Dance Movement Therapy training with Bonnie Bernstein, introductory work in Hakomi, and decades of personal practice as a Master Meditator in the Vipassana tradition and a Zen teacher. Dmitry brings to this course not just clinical technique, but a lived understanding of what it means to inhabit the body as a path toward wholeness — and a deep belief that the therapist’s own inner work is inseparable from the quality of their presence with clients.
