Self-paced video training for therapists
Spiral Process Method
Seven days of experiential training, recorded. Learn to work with the body, the present moment, and the full range of human experience, at your own pace.
The training
The full method, as it was taught live
This is the complete Spiral Process Method training, filmed across seven days of live teaching.
The method draws on somatic therapy, process-oriented psychology, Taoism, and relational healing. It moves past talk therapy into direct, present-moment work with clients, using props, movement, and interventions you will not find in most models.
You get the lectures, the demonstrations, and the guided practices. You follow along with the course reader, one day at a time.
What you will learn
Skills you can use in your next session
Work with resistance
See what happens when a client pushes against an experience, and what happens when they allow the resistance. Learn to meet resistance without fighting it.
Recognize process
Spot the indicators that a process is forming, and follow what is unfolding beneath the words.
Invite the process forward
Name, notice, guess, wonder, and share. Practice the moves that bring a process into the room.
Use enactments and objects
Work with enactment channels, OH cards, objects, and touch to help clients relate to what they are carrying.
Hold boundaries, join clients
Attune to the somatic cues that signal a boundary, and learn the art of joining a client where they are.
Work the edge and integrate
Meet a client at their edge, work across realms, and help the experience land and last after the session ends.
The curriculum
Seven days, in order
Each day is split into two recordings, a morning and an afternoon, so you can stop where it suits you.
Day 1Orientation and the Foundations of Flow
We begin by arriving: a meditation and a chance to settle before the material asks anything of us.
The morning covers the lineage of the method and an integrative view of the model, then non-duality and the Flow Unity State, and then the heart of the day: Universal Flow and resistance to flow. You watch resistance demonstrated, not practiced. Notice what it looks like to push against an experience, and what changes when you stop.
The afternoon turns to the Principles, beginning with the Loving Container. A guided meditation on sitting with painful emotions follows, then the remaining Principles with room for the quotes and examples to land. The day closes with a paired exercise in practicing the Loving Container, after Ron Kurtz.
Day 2Inner Self, Grasping, Boundaries, and Joining
We open with a guided meditation on connecting to the inner self, liking yourself for no reason. Then the Practitioner's State of Being and the Inner Self chart ground the day in who the therapist is being, not just what they are doing.
Next is grasping. A round robin of examples, starting with a demonstration, has you pause when your own grasping arises and practice releasing it. Scenarios include a teen who does not want to be in therapy, a client who feels unloved by the therapist, one who doubts the therapist, one who is angry at the therapist, and one who is people-pleasing.
The afternoon covers boundaries, including a nonverbal boundary-setting exercise in triads, and the art of joining a client through relational attunement statements.
Day 3The Nature of Process
A short mindfulness exercise moves attention through thoughts, then emotions, then sensations. From there you settle into the Layers of Self and what it means to stay present, here and now.
Then process itself: what it is, how to recognize it, and the indicators that show it is happening. A live demonstration has a volunteer client tell a story while the group learns to notice what is unfolding beneath the words.
In the afternoon you learn how to invite the process forward by naming, noticing, guessing, wondering, and sharing what you observe. You see it demonstrated, then practice it in triads, followed by a group debrief.
Day 4Enactments, Paradox, and the Inner Child
The morning begins with a guided meditation, hands on heart, one hand out, both hands out. Then you learn enactments and the channels through which they show up in a session. A live demonstration uses OH cards to bring a process into the room, one participant at a time, with a look at how the work would continue in a real session.
The afternoon covers how to measure the impact of an enactment and track the reaction as it unfolds, with practice in dyads or triads. After the break come the power of paradox and the direction of enactment work. The day closes with inner child work: a guided meditation and paired discussion.
Day 5Ownership, Deepening, and Resourcing
A morning meditation opens the day, then a map of the journey through wholeness. You learn three core skills: introspecting, deepening, and ownership.
A demonstration comes first, then triad practice. The client holds an object that stands for a feeling or process, such as sadness or tiredness. You guide them to notice how they hold it, how they relate to it, and how they want to relate to it, and you invite them to speak to it directly and make a choice.
The afternoon turns to resourcing: a short lecture, a demonstration of using touch, and paired practice.
Day 6Edging, Transcendence, and the Relational Realm
We start with edging, the place where a client's process meets its limit. You watch a book-dropping demonstration, then practice it in pairs or triads, followed by a group debrief. The Edging Spiral and Transcendence show how working at the edge opens something beyond it.
In the afternoon we cover the Realms. Nadia Vulfovich teaches the Relational Realm, demonstrates working in it, and leads a discussion. Then you practice working in the relationship realm in a round robin, and the day ends with a final discussion.
Day 7Engagement, Structures, Integration, and Closing
The morning opens with the Spectrum of Engagement and the Selecting chart, which help you decide how and where to meet a client's process. A lecture on Structures follows, then a demonstration of working with them (observation only), and a lecture on Integration.
The afternoon begins with a demonstration of Transcending and Integrating Experience, then a round robin practice with real-time coaching. A closure lecture brings the training together. Each participant chooses an object to represent what they are taking with them, and a Q&A and closing ceremony complete the seven days.

Before you buy
Three things worth knowing
It is a recorded course
These are recordings of live trainings. There is no live interaction, community group, or mentorship. The practices are demonstrated on video, so line up a colleague to practice with.
A few audio dropouts
In a few videos the audio drops out for a few minutes. The surrounding material stays clear, and the practices and demonstrations are easy to follow around the gaps.
