Spiral Process Therapy

Hello,

I'm Dom Cautivo

AMFT #149470

I am here to be your supporter, advocate, and listening ear. Someone who sees your strength, your dreams, and your beautiful imperfections. Someone to take a breath with, to feel safe with, to walk alongside with, especially through confusing and challenging times. I believe in your ability to break free from darkness and step into light. You don’t have to do it alone. Support is here when you’re ready and we’ll figure it out together.

My Approach:

My approach blends trauma-informed, culturally responsive, mindfulness-based, relational, somatic, experiential, and skills-based modalities to guide each session. In my work, I’ve seen how pain can pull us away from connection and self-understanding—but also reveal the pathway back.

In our sessions, we may invite listening to your body’s wisdom—tuning into physical sensations, emotional experiences, and deeper longings. Other sessions may center the mind, exploring thought patterns and how they influence your behaviors and decisions. We may explore your developmental history, relationship patterns, or the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself from pain. At times, our work may be as simple as talking through recent experiences or trying out new skills and perspectives. Sessions are collaborative, and together, we follow your journey by tending to what’s most important to you.
