Spiral Process Therapy

Psychedelic Integration Therapy in California

Psychedelic Integration Therapy is specialized support for people who have had — or are preparing for — experiences with psychedelic medicines. These can include psilocybin, MDMA, ayahuasca, LSD, mescaline, DMT, or ketamine, whether experienced in a ceremonial, therapeutic, or personal context.

Psychedelic medicines can open powerful doors to healing and transformation, but the experience itself is only part of the journey. Without skilled support, insights gained during a non-ordinary state of consciousness can fade, feel confusing, or even be destabilizing. Integration therapy helps you make meaning of what arose, process what was difficult, and translate the experience into lasting change in your daily life.

OUR APPROACH

At Spiral Process Therapy, our approach to psychedelic integration is rooted in somatic and experiential therapy. We believe the body holds the key to integrating non-ordinary experiences. Rather than simply talking about what happened, we help you re-inhabit the insights, sensations, and emotions from your journey through body-centered practices — grounding techniques, mindful awareness, movement, and depth-oriented exploration.

WHAT INTEGRATION SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE

• Preparation sessions — Setting clear intentions, addressing fears or contraindications, and preparing your inner environment before a journey

• Processing sessions between journeys — Working with what’s arising as the medicine continues to unfold

• Post-journey integration — Making sense of visions, emotions, and insights; grounding them into your body and lived experience

• Ongoing integration — Supporting lasting behavioral, relational, and spiritual change over weeks and months

WHO THIS IS FOR

People who have recently had a psychedelic experience and want support processing it; those planning a journey and wanting preparation from a licensed therapist; those who had a difficult or confusing experience; those working with ketamine therapy (KAP).
